Website Design Newcastle
At Trek Web Design I specialise in the design and development of custom websites for optometrists. I am both an optometrist and web designer so I understand the industry and what optometry practices need from a website. I am based in Newcastle, NSW, and have created websites for optometry practices across Australia.
I often build my optometry websites as WordPress sites (enabling you to make your own edits) but I can also build custom sites in HTML.

The Clyde North Eyecare website was designed for this newly established Provision Practice in late 2025. The site features vibrant stock images and block colours that complement the Melbourne practice’s branding, as well as detailed information for patients and embed of the practice’s online booking system. Visit Clyde North Eyecare here.
Miami Eyes required a new website for their rebranded optometry practice on the Gold Coast. The site is vibrant and fun, incorporating images from their professional photoshoot and the fresh branding that was created for their new look practice. Visit Miami Eyes here.
We created a new website for Eyeconic Optometry on the Gold Coast for their expanding treatment area of myopia control. The site utilised a fresh new photoshoot – the beautiful imagery highlights the difference photography can make to a website. The Gold Coast clinic has been established to diagnose and treat myopia (short sightedness) in children, to slow down its progression and help avoid the issues that come with moderate to high myopia later in life.
Eye C Optometry is a start-up independent optometry practice in South Perth. The practice dedicates itself to the careful selection of boutique and bespoke eyewear, as well as advanced clinical eyecare such as myopia control and keratoconic contact lens fitting. We incorporated frame brand imagery, consistent practice branding, online bookings, and clear marketing messages throughout the design. We also provided full copywriting for the site with strategic integration of SEO throughout.
Newcastle Optometrists Custom Eyecare required two satellite websites to provide detailed information for two of its areas of special interest: myopia control and the treatment of dry eye. The new sites utilised the same overall design and branding as the parent website, but with each their own logo, text and images to suit the special topic area.
We created a WordPress website, including e-commerce for Westmead Eyes Optometrists. The site utilises a fixed background image based design and includes a high level of information for patients. Build with Woocommerce, the online store provides contact lens solutions, dry eye drops, dietary supplements and other specialised optometric products.
This custom WordPress website was created for Boutique Gold Coast optometrist Eyeconic Optometry. The website was styled to complement Eyeconic Optometry’s sleek branding and high end interior design. The website includes a virtual tour embed and online appointment booking functionality.
