Artist Website Development | Rachel Milne Fine Art

Newcastle fine artist Rachel Milne had her website designed not so long ago but was after some design tweaks including simplification of the site structure and presentation, and improved back end usability of her website. Whilst keeping many features of the existing design, I redeveloped the entire website. Now rather than being built with an overly complicated page builder, core WordPress Gutenberg blocks and a simple gallery plugin have been used for easy and lightweight editing. Clean custom theme code takes care of the site design. The way in which Rachel’s artworks are categorised on the site has been reworked to enable her to more easily add to her image galleries herself as she produces new works.

Hastings Valley Fine Art Association is an art society based on the mid north coast of NSW. The association found their old website unnecessarily complicated and came to me for something simplified, cleaner and more user friendly. The website serves to promote the members’ art gallery, enable new members to easily join the association, and provide a central location where members can access information and resources.
